Brewing and Packaging
The course is designed for individuals in the brewing and allied industries who would like to improve their understanding of the scientific principles and practice of the brewing process; this course would also be highly suitable for those aspiring to a career as a practical brewer.
Good Honours degree in a relevant subject or relevant professional experience.
All years: Core modules: Raw materials for brewing; brewhouse processes; fermentation and yeast handling; beer maturation and filtration; packaging of beer.
Assessment is based on a written exam.
