Sustainable Bioenergy and Industrial Biotechnology
This course is designed to provide students withadvanced knowledge and understanding of sustainable bioengery; it is suitable for individuals seeking to enter the sector, future research leaders, government policy makers and biofuels customer service consultants, and helps students develop the knowledge and skills necessary to communicate, operate, investigate and develop bioenergy processes, whether they have a biology or engineering background; off-site visits to bioenergy and biotechnology companies give students opportunities to see the latest technological developments and meet potential future employers.
At least a 2nd Class Honours degree (2.2) or international equivalent from a university recognised by the University of Nottingham in a biology or engineering relevant subject; relevant workplace experience may, in some circumstances, be considered as qualification for entry to this course subject to approval at Faculty level; IELTS: 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any element; TOEFL IBT: 87 with no less than 21 in listening, 22 in reading, 23 in speaking and 21 in writing.
