Animal Nutrition

This vocational course offers the opportunity to integrate an in-depth scientific knowledge of animal nutrition with the acquisition of business skills and a detailed operational understanding of the animal feed industries, developed through a series of case studies. This combination equips students with the knowledge and skills for working in either research or industry.

Entry requirements

2.2 (or international equivalent) in a relevant subject; evidence of relevant personal, professional and educational experience may also be taken in to account with approval from the Quality and Standards Committee. English language requirements: IELTS 6.0 (no less than 5.5 in any element).

Course modules

All modules are compulsory: fundamentals of nutrition; non-ruminant nutrition; ruminant nutrition; agri-business and case studies; molecular nutrition; companion and zoo animal nutrition; research techniques in animal nutrition; research project.
