This course focuses on programming, software engineering and development methodologies, but it also provides a broad-based coverage of relevant subjects including networks and the Internet, databases, artificial intelligence, computer security, system and network administration, multimedia, computer graphics, and user interface design; it is designed for those with a background in science or engineering, but no previous experience with computers and IT is required.
2.2 Honours degree; or equivalent; in a relevant subject such as a science or engineering background; where English is not 1st language IELTS: 6.0 (no less than 5.5 in any element); or TOEFL paper based: 550 with 4.0 in TWE; or TOEFL computer based: 213 with 4.0 in TWE; or TOEFL IBT: 87 (no less than 21 in any element) are required.
Modules include: programming; database systems; introduction to human computer interaction; introduction to network communications.
