Entry requirements

2.1 (or international equivalent) in physics, mathematical physics or mathematics, or a joint degree containing substantial elements of mathematics or physics. English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 (no less than 6.0 in any element).

Course modules

Research involves 7 groups: nanoscience; semiconductors; granular dynamics; magnetic levitation; nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS); nuclear magnetic resonance; ultra-low temperature physics.
