Business Administration (with study in Singapore)

This course provides students with instruction in the creation, operation and management of business in the private and public sectors, and offers a combination of conceptual knowledge, technical skills, problem analysis and personal development appropriate to the modern business environment.

Entry requirements

A graduate of an approved University holding an Honours degree or a relevant professional qualification considered equivalent to a 1st degree with Honours; 3 years or more of full-time work experience with a management dimension, preferably gained since graduating from their 1st degree; 2 acceptable references, preferably 1 academic and 1 from business. Provide evidence of English Language Proficiency with 1 of the following: IELTS: 7.0 (no less than 6.0 in any element); GCE 'O' level: English Language minimum 'C' grade or degree from UK, Australia, USA or Canada.

Course modules

Core modules: financial and monetary economics; managing people; managing the human resource; marketing; finance and accounting; corporate financial strategy; strategic management; portfolio management and investment analysis; management information systems; international finance; operations management; performance and management accounting; plus dissertation.

Assessment methods

Assessment is based on a dissertation.
