Accounting and Finance
2.1 (or international equivalent) in any relevant degree (which must include a substantial amount of accounting) including accounting and finance, business studies, economics or management. English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 (no less than 6.0 in any element).
The course consists of 6 compulsory modules spread across 2 semesters and a summer dissertation. In semester 1, there are 4 compulsory modules: corporate financial strategy; current issues in accounting; introduction to research methods; and further quantitative research methods. These provide a basis for further specialisation in semester 2. In semester 2, students take 2 compulsory modules: financial security valuation and financial statement analysis. 2 more optional modules allow students to tailor their degree to suit their individual interests and career aspirations.
