This course provides supervised postgraduate research and education covering aspects of geospatial problem analysis, system specification, selection, organisation and management of data sources, spatial analysis and geospatial intelligence techniques as well as project management, reporting and communication skills; a 100 per cent research programme can be followed, or a mixed programme of a substantial research project plus up to 40 per cent taught modules from the MSc Geographical Information Science and/or the MSc Navigation.
Upper 2nd Class Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject; applicants whose 1st language is not English require: IELTS 6.5 (no less than 6.0 in any element) or TOEFL 573 paper-based/230 computer-based (with 4.5 in TWE); TOEFL IBT:87 with no less than 21 in listening, 22 in reading, 23 in speaking and 21 in writing.
