Human Geography and Chinese Studies

This course is based upon the research strengths of the school of geography within the broad field of human geography and the language skills and other training provided by the school of contemporary Chinese studies; the course is highly distinctive and is aimed at students with an interest in undertaking research in the human geography of China at an advanced level.

Entry requirements

2.1 Honours degree; or international equivalent; where English is not 1st language IELTS: 6.5 (no less than 6.0 in any element); or TOEFL paper based: 573 with 4.5 TWE; TOEFL computer based: 230 with 4.5 in TWE; TOEFL IBT: 87 (no less than 21 in any element) are required.
