International Commercial Law
An increasingly globalised economy requires commercial law to meet a wide variety of exciting challenges, from the transactional to the regulatory, from shipping to finance, from access to markets to dispute resolution; the course reflects international business in its diversity, innovation, and contemporary relevance.
2.1 Honours degree, or equivalent, in a relevant subject such as law; where English is not 1st language IELTS: 7.0 (no less than 6.5 in any element); or TOEFL paper based: 600 with 5.0 in TWE; or TOEFL computer based: 250 with 5.0 in TWE; or TOEFL IBT: 100 (no less than 21 in any element) are required.
Topics covered include: international trade and maritime law; intellectual property law; public procurement; commercial law of the European Union; the world trade organisation; banking and finance law.
