Economics and Finance

Specific research achievements include analysis and modelling of regional productivity and growth, the modelling of UK energy demand, parental preference and choices of schools, economic tensions and conflicts in the commonwealth and the economics of emerging life-style businesses.

Entry requirements

Master of Philosophy - MPhil: A second-class honours degree in a relevant subject, or master's in a relevant subject. Equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications will be considered. All shortlisted applicants are subject to interview. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 with no component score below 6.0.

Course modules

Modules include: Principles of economic and quantitative analysis; economics in business; finance and appraisal; business environment; research methods and dissertation.
