Educational Leadership and Management
If you are a manager in education or training, or would like to be, this course is designed to enable you to gain the knowledge, skills and confidence to support your contribution to the policies, practices and processes of your sector.
MSc: A good honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject. Other applicants may be admitted and will undertake a programme of preparatory reading and submit a written paper in order to confirm ability to study at postgraduate level. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 with no component score below 6.0.
Modules include: Education policy, strategy and change; management of people and marketing in public organisations; management of resources, finance and information systems; research methods in education; dissertation.
The course is modularised and credit rated with continuous assessment (no examinations). The assessment process includes a formal presentation to peers.
