**WHY TAKE THIS COURSE?** This PgCert Creative Professional Development course develops your skills in professional behaviours, enterprise and leadership. It enhances your employability and provides a route to further study. This is an online course, so you can study flexibly around other commitments. You can still use our on-campus workshops and other facilities and attend the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries guest lecture and events programme. The course is open to University of Portsmouth graduates only. Course modules

The course is taught online. You can also attend additional events on campus and use our extensive range of studios, workshops and other facilities. The online material includes webinars and tutorials. You will study units on leadership and working in the creative industries, build your portfolio and enhance your professional practice. The course also gives you an insight into postgraduate study and looks at how you can do further postgraduate study and research. Assessment methods

There is ongoing assessment embedded in the teaching materials, which includes quizzes and targeted tasks. You will also submit online work including portfolios and extended reports. These will feed through each unit, creating an ongoing record of professional and academic development, focused on your personal creative practice or career aims.
