Psychology

The Department of Psychology has a thriving postgraduate research programme. We welcome enquiries and applications from prospective full time and part time UK, EU and international postgraduate researchers. Our postgraduate research students conduct independent and original research on a chosen topic, working closely with a supervisor team led by a first supervisor who guides and advises them throughout their study.

Entry requirements

Doctor of Philosophy - PhD: A good honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject or a master's degree in an appropriate subject. Exceptionally, equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications will be considered. All applicants are subject to interview. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 with no component score below 6.0.
