The course encourages the development of the �professional teacher�, combining reflective learning with skills-based practical teaching. Students are encouraged to develop subject-specific knowledge by working closely with their university teachers and college subject mentors at their designated teaching placement.

Entry requirements

A good Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject. GCSE Mathematics and English language at grade C or above, or equivalent. All shortlisted applicants are subject to interview. All offers are subject to Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance and Occupational Health clearance.English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 with no component score below 6.0.
