International Development Studies (Distance Learning)

This course allows those who work in international development, or wish to, to follow a guided programme of postgraduate study in the theoretical and practical issues in this sector.

Entry requirements

A good Honours degree in a relevant subject, or equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 with no component score below 6.0.

Assessment methods

Assessment is normally in the form of an extended essay on a specific topic within a unit, allowing you to specialise on a subject that particularly interests you within the broad topic area of the unit.
