Business Economics, Finance and Banking
This course combines theoretical and applied aspects of economics, finance and banking alongside an understanding of business decisions and strategy. Students interpret trends, identify market risks and assess public policy arguments as well as develop their financial forecasting techniques.
A 2nd Class Honours degree in a relevant subject which includes some element of economics, mathematics or statistics, or equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 with no component score below 6.0.
Modules include: Business economics; applied econometrics; finance and financial markets; banking; research methods and dissertation.
Students are assessed in a variety of ways to reflect the individual topics.
