Leadership and Management
This work-based learning course is aimed at helping experienced and aspiring leaders and managers to develop their critical skills based on analysis, research and interpretation of information to form sound conclusions as a basis for recommendations for improvement. These skills are essential to effective management and organisational improvement and performance. Assignments are set in the workplace and will address real organisational issues.
A 2nd Class Honours degree in a relevant subject, or equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications at an appropriate leadership and managerial level. It is also possible to claim Accredited Prior Experience and Learning (APEL). English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 with no component score below 6.0.
Modules include: Leading and managing performance; leadership and management report.
Assessment is a work-based learning proposal and project on a topic of your choosing.
