These programmes are suitable for those who have an active interest in practice based research and professional practice issues; they provide a framework for the demonstration and development of advanced professional knowledge and skills; relevance and application of the research to the professional environment are a pivotal feature of the programme and refection on practice are integral to the learning process.
A good Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject or a Master's degree in an appropriate subject. Exceptionally, equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications will be considered. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 with no component score below 6.0.
Modules include: Practice; theory; research methods and research proposal; integration; work-based learning; thesis.
Design assessment is through studio review and taught courses are assessed by various forms of evidence-based conservation design decisions and proposals. You will also carry out an in-depth research project into an area of your choice.
