Modern civil engineers plan, design, construct and manage the large-scale public works and amenities that underpin societies throughout the world. Our course aims to provide you with a greater framework within which to understand the core disciplines of civil engineering. It will give you an opportunity to update your technical skills and to study issues of growing importance within the civil engineering and construction industries.
A good Honours degree in civil engineering or a related subject, or equivalent industrial and work experience. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.0 with no component score below 5.5.
Modules include: Environmental management for civil engineering; civil engineering science; civil engineering design project; strategic and general management; independent research project.
Assessment methods include examinations, coursework, projects and a dissertation.
