Our Department is full of practising artists, curators and writers, and our researchled teaching offers you opportunities to engage with exhibition and curatorial initiatives, theoretical texts and publication projects. We are an active Department and we pride ourselves on the quality and vibrancy of our 24-hour studio community. Our programme of events, performances, screenings and shared discussions across all disciplines creates an inspiring and social environment. As a student on one of our master's programmes you will find yourself part of this stimulating postgraduate community and intellectual environment. You will work alongside our staff and PhD students, who pursue a wide range of research topics and practices. Our postgraduate environment extends out from the University through our external exhibitions and symposia and our associate partnership with the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London. You can participate in our Asia network with opportunities to exhibit in Japan, China and South Korea and enjoy ICA membership, which gives you access to events, internship opportunities and teaching space in London.
