The course provides advanced insight into business, both at organisational and industry level. In studying this course students gain an understanding, not only of industrial organization and regulation, but also of other areas of business economics such as the economics of small firms and of international business. Students are also introduced to the economics of entrepreneurship and theories of the firm.
An upper 2nd Class Honours degree, or equivalent from a university outside the UK, with a good understanding of core economics and quantitative methods.
Modules include: Economics of corporate strategy; topics in business economics; small business economics; strategic diversity and political economy of multinationals; regulation.
