Banking and Finance in Emerging and Developing Economies
The course will assess how banks and financial institutions function in developing and emerging economies. You will also consider the role played by finance in facilitating or blocking economic development.
A UK upper 2nd Class Honours degree, or equivalent from a university outside the UK, with a good understanding of core economics and quantitative methods.
Modules include: Microeconomics for developing countries; macroeconomics for developing countries; the economics of financial markets; banking in emerging economies; international money and finance.
