Emerging and Developing Economies

This course combines theory and practice to provide you witha strong grounding in international development both in the fast growing emerging economies of Asia, Africa and Latin America and in relation to the problems of development in countries across the world.

Entry requirements

An upper 2nd Class Honours degree, or equivalent from a university outside the UK, with a good understanding of core economics and quantitative methods.

Course modules

Modules include: Economic development in emerging markets; macroeconomics for developing countries; microeconomics of development; macroeconomic policy; microeconomic policy.
