Banking and Financial Systems in the Global Economy

The course will provide you with an understanding of the various components of, and financial services provided by, institutions within the global financial system. You will explore key issues in a global context and develop a detailed understanding of the economic foundations of banking and financial institutions.

Entry requirements

A UK upper 2nd Class Honours degree, or equivalent from a university outside the UK, with an understanding of core economics and quantitative methods.

Course modules

Modules include: Economics of financial regulation; economics of financial markets; international money and finance; banking and the macroeconomy.
