Renaissance Literature and Culture

The course provides an overview of Renaissance literature and culture and teaches practical, specialist skills in archival research and book history. It is aimed at those with a general interest in English Renaissance literature, including professionals wanting to enhance their career or to return to study, and students pursuing a research degree.

Entry requirements

You are normally required to have a good undergraduate Honoursdegree (or equivalent from a university outside the UK).

Course modules

Modules include: materialities and textualities; the unruly stage in Shakespearean England; identity and otherness in the early modern period; sexuality and gender; early modern writing and reading.
