This course revolves, around the actual development of military strategies, with a particular emphasis on the times from the wars of the Anciens R�gimes before the French Revolution to the Counterinsurgency campaigns of the early Twenty First century, and, second, around key strategic thinking from Antiquity to the present, with an emphasis on enduring themes.
A 2.1 (or equivalent from a university outside the UK) at BA level; relevant work experience.
Modules include: modern strategy; strategic theory; origins and causes of wars; conflict and conflict resolution; conflict in the Middle East.
