The MRes is designed for students who wish to enhance their skills of research in the area of Politics and/or International Relations, whether in preparation for a PhD or for a research career in think tanks, government departments, or elsewhere.

Entry requirements

A good undergraduate Honours degree (or equivalent from a university outside the UK). Relevant work experience.

Course modules

Modules include: introduction to research methods; advanced research methods; philosophy of social science.
