Law and Society
This course aims to equip students with a sound understanding of the ways in which law and legal knowledge form part of the political, cultural and economic fabric of society. They provide students with advanced skills in legal research methods and analysis of law and legal issues. The programme has an emphasis on socio-legal research and students are encouraged to explore the application of law and legal research in society.
A good undergraduate Honours degree (or equivalent from a university outside the UK). Students with other qualifications or relevant work experience are encouraged to apply.
Modules include: research methods; legal knowledge and legal writing; research dissertation.
