International Relations (by examination)

Tailor the programme to suit your particular research interests with this two-year, Bologna-compatible master's course. The programme is excellent preparation for a PhD or a research career with employers including think-tanks and government departments. There are no compulsory taught modules, and you will work with an expert supervisor on your specialist research dissertation. Collaborate with academics who have personal experience of public policy, government departments and international organisations (including NATO), or working as advisers to government (including in the UK, the US, France, Italy and Germany). You will benefit from the high level of our research, which has been recognised worldwide by visiting professorships at leading universities. 80% of our research impact was rated world leading or internationally excellent in the latest Research Excellence Framework (2014).
