Entrepreneurship and Financing
In ever more competitive global markets, organisations that depend solely upon re-investing profits and loan finance will be condemned to slow growth. Through a variety of methods including case studies, entrepreneurship and business simulations, and a project, you will develop the ability to apply knowledge and understanding of entrepreneurship and management to complex issues - both systematically and creatively - to improve entrepreneurship and management performance. Teaching is underpinned by the latest theory and research, and you will work with leading experts in the Henley Centre for Entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurship and small business management; study and research skills: sources, methods, and practice; advances in entrepreneurial theory and practice; strategic planning and budgeting; venture capital. Optional modules, in addition students must choose 3 optional modules from: international strategic management; financial management; entrepreneurial leadership; principles of human resource management; practice of entrepreneurship; corporate governance and accountability; new venture start-up; principles of marketing; business and economic development in resource rich countries; global entrepreneurial management; business service design; business clusters.
