Marketing (Digital Marketing)
The growing importance of digital technologies has created a number of challenges for marketers. The number of channels through which to reach individuals has multiplied, whilst customers are better informed and more connected than ever. They communicate with each other, influence buying behaviour and brand reputation, and provide marketers with a wealth of insight to an extent unimaginable a few years ago. This programme provides students with the business context and the tools needed to make the best use of digital channels, helping them to better understand how customers and prospective customers communicate with firms online. Key topics covered include the commercial and social context behind digital, search engine marketing, developing content, digital marketing strategies, and building effective relationships with customers through social media. You will understand how to apply the key building blocks of successful digital strategies. **Careers** As more organisations operate within the context of digital, the skills and insights provided by this degree equip students very well for careers in digital marketing and social media, also brand management, market insight and strategic consultancy with the focus on digital.
MSc: Normally a good first or second class honours degree (or equivalent from a university outside the UK). IELTS: 7.0 overall with no element less than 6.0 (or equivalent).
