International Management and Accounting

This course examines the complexities of managing culturally diverse teams, and the influence of stakeholders in the 21st century international business environment. Students develop a deep understanding of the critical importance of human agents (executive, stakeholder, employee, customer and citizen) and assess the balance between people and process driven elements in an organisation. Students also focus on the relationship between the human agent and functional aspects (strategy, financial management, marketing, entrepreneurship).

Entry requirements

A 2.1 Honours degree (or above) or the international equivalent; students whose previous studies were not undertaken in English are required to submit evidence of proficiency.

Course modules

Modules include: Accounting and finance project or international management business project or dissertation; corporate governance and ethics; global marketing management or principles of marketing; international financial reporting 1; international financial reporting 2; international strategic management; managing people and organisations; professional development and practice; study and research skills.
