International Energy Studies

This course explores a wide range of disciplines related to effective decision-making in the energy sector. Key areas includebusiness, legal, engineering and economics. You will develop a critical understanding of current theories and how to apply this learning within an institutional framework.

Entry requirements

Applicants are required to have a good undergraduate Honoursdegree (or equivalent from a university outside the UK).

Course modules

Modules include: Fundamentals of oil and gas markets; engineering for the energy sector; business and economic development in resource-rich countries; policies and practice towards a low carbon economy; business ethics and governance in oil and gas.
