This course is an ideal foundation for those wishing to work in the trading and sales areas of banking.

Entry requirements

Minimum 2.1 Honours degree from a UK university, or the equivalent from an internationally recognised university. Any degree discipline, but must have a satisfactory existing level of numeracy. Applicants whose 1st language is not English should have an IELTS score of 6.5.

Financial econometrics; market risk; derivatives securities: pricing, hedging and trading; foreign exchange and money markets; research project; topics in the history of finance; bond market pricing and trading strategies; corporate finance; commodity derivatives; advanced finance theory with empirical applications; essentials of financial engineering; stock index futures; occupational pensions; real estate finance; advanced finance theory with empirical applications; topics in financial regulation; liquidity risk and algorithmic trading; behavioural finance.
