Communication for Innovation and Development

The course offers a critical analysis of the theory and practice of communication, innovation and behaviour change. It is particularly relevant for development professionals with communication, knowledge management and extension responsibilities, media professionals wanting to move into development support communications and those intending to go on to a research degree in communication for development.

Entry requirements

Applicants are required to have an undergraduate Honours
degree (or equivalent from a university outside the UK).

Course modules

Modules include: Perspectives on development; poverty, wealth and inequality; concepts and practices of communication; participatory interventions in development; research and study skills for independent learning.
