Climate Change and Development
The course has far-reaching economic and social implications.This course examines the social scientific drivers, and consequences, of climate change and associated policy debates. It focuses on the interface between climate change and development, with particular attention paid to the perspective of ecological economics.
Applicants are required to have an undergraduate Honoursdegree (or equivalent from a university outside the UK).
Modules include: Energy, climate change and development; climate change policy and governance; perspectives on development; global environmental change and development; research and study skills for independent learning.
