Food Security and Development

This course provides a multidisciplinary understanding of the structure and operation of food systems in developing countries, and the main drivers of global food insecurity, malnutrition and poverty. It is aimed at both established professionals looking for a step up in their careers, as well as more recent undergraduates aiming to 'break into' the food security and international development sector.

Entry requirements

Applicants are required to have an undergraduate Honours
degree (or equivalent from a university outside the UK).

Course modules

Modules include: Food security and development; agriculture in the tropics; policy analysis; risk analysis in the food chain; research and study skills for independent learning.
