Chemical Research

This course provides a flexible course that enables students to acquire specialist research techniques and expertise in their chosen area of Chemistry. Students are trained to undertake practical and theoretical research in a chosen specialist area of chemistry with guidance from an experienced researcher, and follow a number of lecture courses which are selected to complement the project. A major focus of the programme is on practical methods and the development and perfection of research methods and skills.

Entry requirements

A 2.2 Honours degree (or above) in chemistry or equivalent qualification; those who do not have such qualification may be granted admission in special circumstances.
