Pharmacy Practice

This course trains students in pharmacy practice research. It is suitable preparation for subsequent PhD studies and equally suitable for pharmacists wanting to combine research with a career in community, hospital, primary-care pharmacy, or education and training.

Entry requirements

Normally a 1st Class or 2.1 Honours degree in pharmacy or equivalent pharmacy qualification (or equivalent from a university outside the UK) although those with relevant experience and a degree in another field are also considered.

Course modules

Modules include: research methods; advanced topics in pharmacy research; research project.

Assessment methods

Research project.
