Research areas include: business innovation in construction (competitiveness, productivity and performance; through-life management and performance; innovation procurement); sustainable environments (carbon management in the built environment; policy issues relating to energy management and renewable energy; building environmental performance; thermal comfort); innovative technologies (development of technologies for managing and controlling indoor environments; intelligent buildings; air quality; whole-life costing; informatics; smart materials; sensors).

Entry requirements

An Honours degree plus some related experience or commercial sponsorship is a minimum requirement for entry to study at the School.
