International Management

The MSc in International Management portfolio will develop you as a future manager and leader who can do business across time zones, cultures and languages and in global and diverse contexts. The course provides a solid grounding in key areas of business and management practice and is fully recognised by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Successful completion leads to eligibility for membership of the CMI and the potential to gain chartered manager status.

Entry requirements

Candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to study successfully at postgraduate level. This will normally mean at least a second class honours degree in a business or social science related discipline. For applicants without a first degree we would consider an equivalent management or professional qualification (HEQ L6 or above). Students will need to demonstrate evidence of independent learning, as well as proficiency in the use of software packages for word-processing, spreadsheets and PowerPoint. Graduates for whom English is not the first language must satisfy the University requirement for IELTS currently at 6.5 overall with no less than 5.5 in any band. Applications without this level of English qualification may enrol in our summer pre-sessional English course to obtain an equivalent qualification.
