Dyslexia in Inclusive Education
This is a specialist postgraduate certificate, designed for classroom practitioners who are working with school children and young people (up to age 16) who are experiencing specific learning difficulties in reading, writing, and spelling. The course content focuses upon identification, assessment and practical support for learners with SpLD/Dyslexia and provides opportunity to combine an academic but practically oriented course.
You are usually expected to hold a good second-class honours degree (or above) from an approved university or college in the UK, or a recognised degree from abroad. Advice on recognition may be obtained from the Admissions Manager. Non-graduates with appropriate professional or other qualifications may be accepted on an individual basis by course conveners. The level of English required is ACADEMIC IELTS at 6.5 overall with no less than 5.5 in any band.
