Psychology of Sport and Exercise

Are you interested in practising as a sport and exercise psychologist? (i.e. offering sport and exercise psychology services to the public). If so, then this is the programme for you. This programme is a British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited postgraduate programme. It offers stage 1 training, a requirement for progressing to stage 2 training (normally consisting of two years' supervised experience). Completing these stages will lead to chartered membership with the BPS and registration as a sport and exercise psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Entry requirements

Normally a 2.1 or higher Bachelor degree in Sport Science/Studies or a related science-based degree. Candidates should also have the British Psychological Society Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC).
