Fashion Innovation (Digital)

This course strengthens your understanding of the scope of digital technologies and their intersection with fashion practices. With a strong interdisciplinary ethos, you will be encouraged to collaborate with your peers. You will also have the chance to meet industry experts and specialists through visiting lecturers, masterclasses and live briefs.

Entry requirements

A relevant undergraduate degree, normally at 2.1 or above, and supporting portfolio of practice. Applicants with an undergraduate degree of 2.2 will be considered where a high quality portfolio of practice is presented. We welcome applications from students who may not have formal/traditional entry criteria but who have relevant experience or the ability to pursue the course successfully. Students whose 1st language is not English will require evidence of proficiency in the English language.

Course modules

Modules include: Fashion thinking and networked culture; fashion innovation and direction; fashion intervention.

Assessment methods

Assessment criteria includes a self-directed research project; this may be entirely written or practical or a combination of these approaches as well as a presentation.
