Media Production (Post-Production for Television)
This course aims to equip you with the skills and theory that apply to post-production practice. Using our industry standard production facilities at MediaCityUK, you�ll tackle self-directed and team-orientated industry briefs. This will give you a practical understanding of the creative processes, production workflow and industry techniques looked for by employers.
A degree in an appropriate subject, grade 2.2 or above. We welcome applications from students who may not have formal/traditional entry criteria but who have relevant experience or the ability to pursue the course successfully. Students whose 1st language is not English will need to provide evidence of proficiency in the English language.
Modules include: Creative development projects; media theory and practice; collaborative projects; advanced production practices; major project: Practice research project; major project: dissertation.
Assessment depends on the module taken. They include: creative projects portfolios and productions; live briefs; critical reflections; presentations; essay.
