The courses develop commercial awareness and to engenders the key skills that employers look for in their senior management. The course gives opportunity to study within a timeframe that maximises students learning while maintaining their key positions in their organisations. The course focuses on enterprise and entrepreneurship and works with local, national and international industry to facilitate change. Key entrepreneurial skills that students develop include: entrepreneurial leadership; consultancy skills; enterprising behaviour; opportunity recognition; creativity and innovation; presentation skills; critical analysis skills.
A minimum of 2.2 honours degree or equivalent in a business related subject. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years full-time post study work experience with evidence of managerial responsibility. International applicants must also provide evidence of proficiency in English. This takes the form of IELTS 6.5 band score with no element below 5.5, or equivalent SELT grade. A wide range of professional qualifications are also considered for partial fulfilment of entry criteria. Appropriately experienced applicants without formal qualifications will be considered in line with the University's Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) procedure.
Modules include: Managing the competitive environment; managing the organisational resource; financial management and social accounting or creative leadership and managing creative teams; resourcing learning and talent management or search and social media marketing or global supply chain management; business innovation live project.
Assessment will include: examinations; assignments; presentations.
