Applicants should be a specialist registrar in geriatric or elderly medicine. Students whose 1st language is not English will need to provide evidence of proficiency in the English language.
Modules include: Medical ethics and law; medical teaching and communication; health service management; general principles of ageing; common diseases of the older adult 1; common diseases of the older adult 2; psychiatry of old age; medicine for the older adult; dissertation.
Assessment is by a combination of assignment and presentation work.
