Occupational and Vocational Rehabilitation

The course, which focuses on health and the workplace, brings together the disciplines of occupational and vocational rehabilitation, with the intention of improving the coordination and delivery of health services.

Entry requirements

A degree, grade 2.2 or above, in a relevant subject or equivalent academic or professional qualification from the UK or elsewhere. We welcome applications from students who may not have formal/traditional entry criteria but who have relevant experience or the ability to pursue the course successfully. Students whose 1st language is not English will need to provide evidence of proficiency in the English language.

Course modules

Modules include: Professional and ethical practice in occupational and vocational rehabilitation; designing and evaluating workplace strategies for health and wellbeing; assessments and interventions for occupational and vocational rehabilitation; long-term conditions and vocational case management; research project.

Assessment methods

Assessment methods can include: written assignments; oral presentations; poster presentations; portfolio; reflective assignment; personal development plan; empirical research/evaluation project; literature review; paper for submission to a journal.
