International Journalism for Digital Media

This course combines the solid foundations of journalism practice with the latest developments in multimedia techniques, digital journalism and social media, putting students through the fast-paced environment of a newsroom.

With guest lecturers from the BBC and other media organisations, practical workshops and news days in industry-standard radio and TV studios, the syllabus is as close to the real world of digital media as it can get.

This course produces analytical and autonomous media professionals, who are capable of working with confidence in any global media environment.

Entry requirements

To gain entry onto this course, you will need to hold an honours degree at class 2:1 or above.

We also welcome applications from students who may not have formal/traditional entry criteria but who have relevant experience or the ability to pursue the course successfully.
